Perhaps you're the person colleagues come to.
Maybe you work in HR, DEI, OH, wellbeing or leadership.
Possibly you've experienced a difficult menopause yourself.
Potentially you believe nobody should struggle at work.

This workshop is for you.

What does a Menopause Champion actually do?

A Champion is a trusted listening ear, someone a colleague feels safe to turn to when things get hard.

They're a signpost, pointing people towards the right support, and a quiet culture-shifter who keeps the conversation open.

They are not a diagnoser, not a clinician, not an expert. This is something you do alongside your day job, because you care.

“I'm struggling. Can we talk?”

The five words a Champion is ready to hear

In just three hours, you'll explore five essential areas.

01

Understanding Menopause

What's really happening, the biology, the life stage, and why it belongs in the workplace conversation.

02

Understanding Symptoms

The wide, often invisible range of physical and psychological symptoms, and how they show up at work.

03

Having Sensitive Conversations

How to listen well, ask thoughtful questions, and respond with warmth rather than solutions.

04

Effective Signposting

Knowing where to point people, internal support, medical routes, and trusted resources.

05

Becoming a Menopause Champion

Bringing it all together,  your role, your boundaries, and how to keep menopause visible day to day.

This workshop is particularly valuable for:

HR & People DEI teams Occupational Health Wellbeing Champions Mental Health First Aiders People Managers & Leaders Employee Network members L&D professionals

Any colleague passionate about making menopause easier to talk about. No particular job title or previous training required.

This isn't about becoming an expert.

You don't.

A great Champion doesn't have all the answers. They know just enough to make someone feel seen and to know what to do next. A great Champion knows enough to:

Recognise when someone needs support
Listen without judgement
Ask thoughtful questions
Maintain confidentiality
Understand their boundaries
Know when to signpost
Keep menopause visible

You'll learn alongside professionals and colleagues from organisations across the UK and further afield.

Lauren Chiren, Founder of Women of a Certain Stage

Your facilitator

Led by Lauren Chiren

CEO and Founder of Women of a Certain Stage, an international keynote speaker, and one of the UK's leading voices on menopause in the workplace.

Lauren's own menopause led her to believe she had early-onset dementia and to walk away from a senior corporate career. That experience became her mission.

Today she works with employers worldwide, helping organisations build cultures where nobody has to struggle in silence. You'll spend the afternoon learning directly from her.

What will you leave with?

Greater understanding

A clear, confident grasp of menopause and how it plays out in working life.

Greater confidence

To start conversations you might once have avoided and hold them well.

Clear boundaries

Knowing where your role ends and professional support begins.

Practical signposting skills

The know-how to point colleagues towards the right help, every time.

Your own Champion approach

A way of showing up that fits you, your team and your organisation.

You can make a difference without menopause support becoming your full-time job.

One afternoon.
Five essential areas.
A lifetime of better conversations.

Become the colleague you wish everybody had access to.
